Brent Goodman's poetry to appear in COLLECTIVE BRIGHTNESS: LGBTIQ Poets on Faith, Religion & Spirituality

Brent Goodman, whose poetry collection The Brother Swimming Beneath Me was a 2009 finalist for both Lammy and Thom Gunn Awards, will be featured in the forthcoming anthology titled  Collective Brightness: LGBTIQ Poets on Faith, Religion & Spirituality, edited by Kevin Simmonds, which will be released from Sibling Rivalry Press in October. Rigoberto González writes, “The glory of holding Simmonds’s anthology in one’s hands is that it burns as the sacred text of our queer times: heavy with burden, luminous with hope.” Pre-order your copy of Brightness here, and a copy of The Brother Swimming Beneath Me here.
