It’s Not Too Late to Apply
Interested in learning how an independent literary press works? Want to get the behind-the-scenes scoop about how books are chosen for publication and then produced? Black Lawrence Press is looking for a few good interns. And we are still accepting submissions for the fall semester.
Who should apply: Undergraduate and graduate students in writing, literature, and publishing programs.
How the internship works: All of your work will be done online and via phone/skype conversations. The beauty of this internship is that it requires no commuting.
Hours: It is important that you spend at least 10 hours per week working on your intern duties. We expect that you will deliver an average 2 to 3 reports per week.
School Credit: We are willing to work with your school to help you get credit hours for your internship.
How to apply: Send a letter of intent, resume, and writing sample to Diane Goettel at firstname.lastname@example.org. Have two letters of recommendation sent to the same email address.
You can learn more about Black Lawrence Press, our staff, and our titles at www.blacklawrence.com.
