The Wisconsin Academy of Sciences Arts & Letters has published a new review of Brent Goodman’s Lammy-nominated collection The Brother Swimming Beneath Me: “[Goodman’s poems] express what seems impossible to express. They allow us to again experience elements of our own lives—a person, a place, a time—with a depth paradoxically often missing from the actual moment something takes place.”
