Winner and Finalists: Spring 2011 Black River Chapbook Competition

We’re pleased to announce that Russel Swensen, author of the poetry collection Santa Ana, is the winner of the Spring 2011 Black River Chapbook Competition. Congratulations! All of our finalists were fantastic reads, and it was tough to choose one winner, but we loved Russel’s engaging, strong voice and his compelling and enigmatic narrative.
