BLP Poet Wins Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Prize

Michele Battiste won a 2008 Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Prize for two poems: “Daedalus’ Blueprint” and “Preparing the Unborn Child.”  The prize came with a $1,000 cash prize.
Michele’s first full-length collection of poems, Ink for an Odd Cartography, will soon be released by BLP.  She teaches poetry writing for Gotham Writers’ Workshops.
