Poet David Rigsbee, whose chapbook Pilot House was recently released to rave reviews, has announced that he’ll collaborate with San Francisco-based classical composer Kurt Erickson on a new choral piece for Mount Olive College’s 60th Anniversary. Erickson calls David “a masterful poet and great all-around guy” and plans to use three of his poems as text for the piece. The project is expected to premiere in November; in the meantime, pick up a copy of Pilot House!
