Ashley Hermsmeier author photoAshley Morrow Hermsmeier holds an MFA in Fiction from Pacific University and an undergraduate degree in English Education from Point Loma Nazarene University. Her stories and essays have appeared in Michigan Quarterly Reviewphoebe, Flash Fiction MagazineGemini, Front Porch, Weber—The Contemporary West, and Cease Cows, among others. She has won two previous fiction contests (2015, 2017), and her story “When the Bees Come Back” received a Pushcart Prize nomination. She currently teaches English and writing in San Diego.
We couldn’t be happier to add Ashley’s chapbook to our series. Something Like the End (short fiction) will be published by Black Lawrence Press in spring 2019. Welcome to the BLP family, Ashley!
