Dear Friends,
If you will be in the NYC metro area on the evening of Monday, September 21, please join us for a wonderful evening celebrating writers and writing with our dear friends at the New York Writers Coalition. The evening will feature the poets David Rigsbee, who recently won the Black River Chapbook Competition and Hayden Saunier, whose poetry collection Tips for Domestic Travel is hot off the press. Deborah Clearman, whose novel Todos Santos is due out from BLP next summer will also read. In addition to being a member of the Black Lawrence Press family. Deborah is also the Program Director at the New York Writers Coalition and leads weekly workshops for seniors. Michelle Birdsong, lyricist and memoirist will also read. Michelle has been a member of the NYWC writing workshop at the 14th Street Y for over a year.
